A proper good day in Leeds yesterday at #ukreiif with Project Four Building Safety Experts Ltd.

One of the highlights was a masterclass in building safety from P4’s national director Allan Binns. This focused on principal accountable persons, safety cases, and the evolving operational realities of higher-risk residential buildings under the Building Safety Act.

Alan was then accompanied by an expert panel including P4’s Ali Palizi Sam Walton Group Head of Facilities & Health & Safety at Moda Living, and Dr Melanie Robinson Strategy Director at Okana.

The panel discussion was part of a broader conversation around operational assurance, governance, resident safety, the Golden Thread, and long-term asset resilience within institutional residential portfolios.

The sector’s dynamic progress has seen discussions evolve around the practicalities of implementation, accountability, evidencing integrity, and operational readiness across the residential property sector.

The day then took a lighter note in the Head Of Steam to sample their version of the best sparkling water in town 🙂
