#ANIMATES CAPTURES THE IMAGINATION OF THE CITY…

By Joel Jelen

Children across the #LiverpoolCityRegion are being inspired to become innovators by a book called The Animates: Learning in Liverpool, written by local author Natalie Reeves Billing DL FRSA.

Launched at last year’s Innovation Investment Week, the book tells of six animal friends who crash land from space in the Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ Liverpool) innovation district and must use science and technology to help them repair their ship and return home.

With 5,000 copies of the book already in city region schools, plans for a new Animates by the same author were unveiled at an #InnovationInvestmentFortnight event last week. The new story will once again be set in the Liverpool City Region.
