A pioneering project helping companies and organisations with knife awareness has delivered its biggest project to date.
Take A Stance put together by Pain Point Coach wellness entrepreneur John Bullock recently hosted a unique workshop on ‘being knife aware’ to an enthralled audience at The Forshaw Group in Knowsley.
Bullock who delivered the event with a focus on safety through verbal and body language skills impressed all the participants and especially Liam Hanlon Managing Director who said:
“I fully support the promotion and inclusion of John’s expertise in clubs, schools, colleges & businesses as a valuable workshop for knife crime awareness. We really liked how the workshops focus on verbal and body language skills to prevent a situation from escalating.”
Take A Stance as a project is also extending its courses by demand to industry-specific sectors to include for example, property.
“This is following keen interest from the sector and its awareness of the vulnerability, especially of women, from knife crime,” said Bullock. “Conversations have been ongoing recently particularly around subjects being highlighted for International Women’s Day.”
Take A Stance is continuing its sector-based approach with the help of other established bodies including LCR via which 100% funding has now been obtained so firms and organisations can procure the Take A Stance Knife Awareness workshops free of charge.
Knife awareness and confidence building courses are also available for individuals via Take A Stance. Further information is available here https://www.painpointcoach.co.uk/courses/knife-awareness-confidence-building/
