2030Hub celebrates 10 years of B Corp in the UK tomorrow and is looking forward to new frontiers in creating a dedicated business support ecosystem to fuel the B Corp movement.
That’s the words of David Connor, founder of 2030Hub alongside Stephen Sykes, both highly regarded and commended in the city, nationally and by the UN for their pioneering climate change work.
“Tomorrow is a big day in celebrating the last 10 years and thanking everyone for their involvement as well as highlighting the opportunities presented by B Local Liverpool,” said David.
“We are actively shaping a place-based plan to grow and support our B Corp community. This isn’t just a theory; it’s the new economic strategy. And we’re bringing the architects of this plan to the table tomorrow too.
“We are honoured to confirm that Kate Bull (Director of Economic Strategy, Skills and Sustainability) and Paul Cherpeau (CEO of Liverpool Chamber of Commerce) will be joining our “Take 10” celebration alongside Annie Olivier, Head of Growth from B Lab UK.”
City business commentators have already noted how their involvement signals a major shift in the growth of interest in 2030Hub’s vision for B Corp.
Guests at the event will hear the Vision and be able to discuss the framework for Liverpool’s unique B Corp ecosystem.
“There will also be an opportunity to shape the Plan and join the conversation on what businesses need and how our city can lead in policy, procurement, and sustainable growth,” added David.
“Plus, guests can network with the city’s key strategic leaders, high level architects and the entire purpose-driven business community. It’s very much an event to celebrate the last 10 years and, a workshop to build the next 10.”
