A six figure cost to repair the clock, now the building is complete, the clock’s new movement has been manufactured.

The rest of the detail is for clock anoraks everywhere…the specialist company we’ve hired still have the bevel gears to dismantle & restore back to good order. Then they need to create suitable bracket work.

Ultimately, when we do a project, we do it to 100% of our ability and are huge on detail! This is a good example of that.

We know the clock is loved by many local historians, stakeholders, and volunteers within the St Helens community who share an equal love for all things heritage.

This is why we’re bringing the clock back to life…it’s original design which we are protecting was created by Beecham’s Building architect H.V. Krolow in 1887.
