I was told when I first arrived in Liverpool that “nobody likes a show off.”
Never forgotten that.
It made sense given where I’m from in East London.
And anyway, given that both cities have the most listed properties in the country, Liverpool’s buildings can do the showing off for it!
In my head of comms role, just popping in to see the Lord Mayor this morning about a big itinerary of events starting with the world boxing championships in September, yet another first for the city.
