I was privileged to be at Knowsley Chamber Of Commerce‘s very special Summer Social.
It was always designed, albeit in secret, to be a fitting send off for Lesley Martin-Wright who was bowing out of her role of 14 years as CEO.
If you’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Lesley, very rare people like Lesley don’t retire, in spite of the media headlines.
They just free up their time to spread their huge knowledge, experience, character, attitude and passion in helping even more people.
Lesley leads with her heart but with a steely business-like determination and always remains extremely measured.
She will no doubt have weathered many storms professionally and personally but she remains pure class and a role model for anyone, young or older.
She has an equanimity about her that modern day business and elite sports coaches champion.
Lesley without surprise has a number of opportunities at her feet but I don’t want to steal her thunder so she will update everyone shortly.
Good Luck Lesley.
In complete admiration.
