I’d spent long enough considering the future effects of Generative AI in PR.
Being out there, offering advice to clients was the next step and it wouldn’t have been possible without the likes of a younger generation and silver surfers alike, hell bent on showing its power for business. I went to a great event last night that consisted of exactly that mix of humans, but more of that in a moment.
Looking back, firstcame social media, then the internet itself. We didn’t know where that was going, like we don’t know with AI.
Regardless, what is consistent with all three is the power of the story through manipulating each.
I love creating and telling stories – always positive…and behalf of clients who deserve the recognition.
And the key to AI in my opinion, isn’t just having the skillset, which can be learned. It’s having the creativity to share a good story. That can sometimes be down to natural flair.
And despite the binary headlines about AI – similar to those claiming Arsenal will win the Premier League at a canter – AI won’t replace the human flair required to communicate and innovate. It will amplify it.
Likewise, it won’t break the relationships I nurture daily/weekly on behalf of clients, whether promoting strategic campaigns or managing a crisis with the discretion and experience that only a human can offer.
Cheers to the GoodShip* KinShip VEO3 zeitgeist at NatWest Business in Liverpool ONE last night alongside Google Cloud
Special thanks to Gavin Sherratt for the invite, wannabe Yorkshireman 😎Mike Bailey from Bootfit for his expertise and Nathan J. for helping to make it happen.
Cool to briefly chat too with Shawla Ahad Alex Keyter and Natalie Hughes 👏
