I got chatting with Paul Furlong recently.

If you don’t know Paul, he’s a fractional CMO, video marketing expert, international bestselling author, founder of Opus Media and co-founder of Jackpot Explorers.

Impressive eh!

Most importantly, Paul gets the giving back, pay it forward, giver’s gain thing.

He’s done that for decades.

I like that in people.

We talked about one of Paul’s initiatives for the creative industry of late.

Agency folk get together for food, you like food?

We sit around a few tables, each having paid a nominal £20, with about 20 of us – no more – talking a bit of shop and let the rest flow – no doubt I’ll mention the creativity involved in having set up www.sniffsighyawn.com a few years back, as well as Ubiquity.

Ideal guests are agency folk (you do need to work in a creative agency to register) from Liverpool City Region who like informal settings and good food.

As Paul said during our chat, the company will make the evening and we’ll have a speaker along to share some wisdom too.

BTW We did a brain recce and came up with Lunyalita at Albert Dock because of the breath taking views and the conviviality created by the venue.

Plus it’s less than 10 mins walk from e.g. the Baltic where there’s 2 hours free parking. Creative thinking at work right there.
