ANOTHER CLIENT – LAUGH FOR LIFE COMEDY – SHORTLISTED FOR AN AWARD…
By Joel Jelen
Congrats to PR client Henry Churney and Laugh For Life Comedy for being shortlisted in the Health and Wellbeing category at the Merseyside Independent Business Awards.
I know first hand how much it would mean to everyone at LFLC alongside recognition of the work they do to help people improve their mental wellbeing through the power of stand-up comedy.
It’s helped people feel seen, supported and less alone. They’ve given people the confidence to speak up, connect with others and begin to believe in themselves again. That is the heart of what they do.
By winning the award, it would also help them reach more people who may be quietly struggling with anxiety, loneliness, low self-esteem or the effects of painful life experiences such as bereavement, abuse, addiction, mental health crisis or homelessness. For many, taking that first step can feel impossible.
This shortlisting alone honours the individuals who have taken part in LFLC courses, found their voice and had the courage to perform in front of an audience. Their journeys are powerful, inspiring and often life-changing.
