Roll on March then and the onset of MIPIM.
Ok, it’s in Cannes but even they’ve had their fair share of wet weather too!
Liverpool City Region has a very attractive pipeline to offer for investors at MIPIM 2026.
There are said to be more than £11bn of opportunities in housing regeneration and strategic mixed-use development.
Confidence is very much on the up in our development sector.
Major schemes are moving ahead, and we’re enticing new international investors.
In addition, there’s the proposed Mayoral Development Corporation, a refreshed investment strategy and a closer public and private sector coalition of partners.
The latter is something Manchester has done very well for decades now.
The investment portfolio includes long-term strategic development opportunities across Liverpool City Region.
Steve Rotheram, Mayor of the Liverpool City Region Katherine Fairclough Richard McGuckin, Tim Games Andy Devaney and Nuala Gallagher will all be there representing, alongside private sector partners.
I’m looking forward to hearing about all the successes MIPIM has brought back to Liverpool and the City Region.
