I’m playing golf next Thursday, July 16th at Woolton Golf Club.
The Nolan Group has put together the Woolton Golf Society for the property community around the NW.
I do enjoy mixing golf and business just because it gives people time, space, and a shared activity that makes relationship-building feel more natural than a formal meeting or networking event.
I sense the golf society will be a great opportunity for people to see each other more often and build trust over time.
I also love how golf works because it levels the room.
Senior leaders throwing their clubs in the trees around hole 6 (!), alongside clients, suppliers, and collaborators spending several hours together in a relaxed setting, encouraging the kind of conversation that often doesn’t happen in a boardroom.
Like many other sectors I work in, property is a relationship-led sector, so the Golf Society will give people a reason to stay connected between projects.
It will no doubt, open the door to more collaboration, peer support, and long-term trust.
Bring it on.
